Only 4 Days Left to Get The $1000 Bagel, Run!!
December 10, 2007
Somehow I don’t think they will sell out of these things by December 14th.
About a month ago, and a day before the $25,000 sundae was introduced to NYC, the Executive Chef at the Westin Hotel in Times Square revealed his $1000 bagel. To me, that works out to about $200 a bite or $100 a bite if you aren’t that hungry, which would beg a better question - why are you buying a $1000 bagel??

Well for starters, you don’t get butter on this thing . What you get is the second most expensive food in the world behind caviar - white truffle. This stuff is found only beneath certain oak trees in the Alba region of Italy, and only grows in late Fall and early Winter. Normally, trained dogs are used to sniff out the location of this delicacy. People pay $1000 to $2000 per pound for this stuff, depending on time of year. Recently, the “King of Gambling” paid $330,000 for a 3.3 pound specimen! I guess he IS worth over $7 billion so he can afford that kind of thing.
Anyway, back to the rediculous bagel. It also comes covered with goji berry jelly (known for its high beta carotene content) and golden leaves. And don’t worry about how much to tip, taxes and gratuity are included.
For the real ballers, get your orders in soon because you need to give 24 hours notice! I think I will stick to my regular sesame seed with butter.

Jebus….
Sgoddy can you use some of your fortune (only $1.5 billion) to buy me some white truffle?
And seriously can you work on making more money, I am getting sick of your ferrari, porsche, lambo and mazi. $1.5 isn’t what it used to be.
