Eva Mendes will be gracing the big screen in another comic book recreation. This time she’s Sand Saref in Frank Miller’s - The Spirit. All we have to say is OMG tight clothing has never looked so good…

Adapted from the legendary comic book series created by Will Eisner, The Spirit is a classic action-adventure-romance written for the screen and directed by genre-twister Frank Miller. It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as the Spirit (Gabriel Macht) to fight crime from the shadows of Central City. His arch-enemy, the Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission: he’s going to wipe out Spirit’s beloved city as he pursues his own version of immortality. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City’s rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront… all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill our masked crusader.

Canadian Supercar????

It seems that the rumours have been true and the Locus Plethore is actually making it’s way into production. First words out of all of our mouths “A Canadian supercar?” I was dumbfounded when I heard this, considering we all carry hockey sticks and have to walk to work through 4 feet of snow. That’s just in Southern Ontario, I would hate to see what people in the great white North go through to get to work.
Available in a modest 750 hp version or 1300hp version for guys with really really *big* wangs. Looking at this thing reminded me of a McLaren F1 which is not a bad thing by any means but being a Canadian I would expect a more original design. I guess when we have to market to our smaller but bigger brother we can’t be too adventurous or we’d be considered a threat to National Security.
Anyway, great building CDNs and I hope you keep a few up here for us as well.

How To Get Your Girl Into Gaming
Advice from Mrs. Shipwreck, a gamer wife
Most girls who grew up with My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, and Barbie have a very limited gaming past. I started gaming on the Nintendo Entertainment System. I don’t remember why my sister and I were so enthralled with getting a NES, but we knew everyone else wanted one, so we thought we should have one too. We played Super Mario Brothers. We played Super Mario Brothers 2. We played Super Mario Brothers 3. We played Mario Is Missing, which was boring…very boring. It wasn’t until we bought the Zelda guide that we realized where we could find the red lantern and then Zelda became fun too, which brings me to my first point.
Tip #1: Limit the frustration! Games are not fun if we can’t control them. Nor are they fun if we get stuck in the same place and keep dying. If your chosen female gaming partner isn’t really into gaming to begin with, she’s definitely not going to be dedicated enough to die repeatedly without making progress. This illustrates the reason why I never play games that involve flying airplanes. If you hand a woman a controller early in her gaming career, don’t expect her to master the whole “up is down” and “down is up” thing. Gaming should be fun, so explain the controls/rules/concept prior to hitting “Start” or she’ll be dead before she even knew what hit her. If she’s playing a single-player game that seems to be getting frustrating, buy the guide (or visit GameFAQs). It’ll save you BOTH a lot of frustration.
